This vintage Castagna figurine is a charming addition to any collection. Crafted in Italy, it features a hen with chicks and stands at 2 3/8" tall, 2" wide and 2 7/8" deep. The intricate details make this piece a great addition to any farm or countryside themed display. Castagna figurines are made in Italy out of Alabaster that is ground into a fine powder, then mixed with a resin binder, allowing it to be formed into a sculpture. It's a perfect gift for collectors or those who appreciate unique and quirky items. This figurine has been on display in a cabinet for many years. I have checked it over, and other than a little wear on the tag on the bottom of the figurine, there were no issues. This figurine will come gift boxed, ready to give as a gift.
